November 2020 saw the International Federation of Compliance Institute (IFCA) host its first International Congress with the focus on Compliance 2030. IFCA members from 12 countries including Compliance Institute, Nigeria (CIN) participated, connecting 5 continents through compliance. There were about 55 panelists and speakers. This virtual congress ran over five days with a variety of presentations, interviews, and panel discussions following five key themes:
- Leadership – Transforming Compliance
- Chief Compliance Officer – The role
- Digitalization – The use of technology
- Sustainability – The long-term business view
- Key Compliance Areas in 2030
